MYRIAD Installation to a Novell Network

1.   Map a drive from one of your workstations to the Novell Network.

2.   Put the MYRIAD CD into the CD ROM Drive from the workstation.

3.   Go to the CD and run Setup.exe from the CD. Let it install to the mapped drive.

4.   Follow the setup procedures, such as path, serial number, etc.

5.   When configuring the network for MYRIAD, you will have to use File Byte Locking. If this option isn’t given to you, you will have to type the following line exactly into the MYRIAD32.ini file in the [Start-Up] section. FileLockNetwork=True

Then click on “File” then “Save”.

6.   Repeat this for each workstation on the network if you are installing MYRIAD and Acrobat Exchange. If you are installing just MYRIAD, all you have to do with the other workstations is to make a shortcut to MYRIAD on the mapped drive.
