Convert Any Document

Net-It® Enterprise for SharePoint 2010 makes document conversion an effortless part of any workflow or business process. It works with virtually any format, creating a PDF, TIFF or CSF (Content Sealed Format) version of the source file and leaves the original document untouched. The new document can be distributed publicly or checked back into the SharePoint library.

Net-It publishes documents according to the criteria set by the administrator or authorized users, including which pages to publish, the output format, resolution, and more. You can apply markups to your published documents to include your company name and logo, indicate whether a document is a draft or final version, or include other information. Published documents can be used for making read-only versions available outside your organization or for archiving.

Include Banners and Watermarks in Documents
Published documents can include either a banner text along the sides of the documents or a watermark. Banner and watermark text could include draft status, a timestamp, or other text. This aids compliance initiatives that require additional information.

Create Secure "Clone" Library
Create a PDF or secure CSF "clone" of a document library that allows content authors/contributors to access to native files, while directing content consumers to the "clone" library. This gives authorized users access to the content, while restricting other users from downloading and modifying files.

Integrates into Workflows
Net-It can monitor a folder or SharePoint library for new jobs to process. As a new document comes into the system, Net-It can automatically apply the publishing criteria, convert the document, and save both the original and published copies into the appropriate library. Publishing can also be integrated into your own custom workflows through Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer or other tools.

Convert Document for Archiving
PDF/A is emerging as the standard format to use when archiving documents. Net-It can convert a single document or an entire document library for archiving. It can even be set to monitor a library for new documents or versions to convert, so that you will always have PDF/A copies of the latest versions of your documents. Converted documents retain text from the original, so your archive is always fully searchable.
