Press Release
Informative Graphics Corporation Products Named
to EContent Magazine EC100 List for Excellence in Content Security
SCOTTSDALE, AZ — December 1, 2009 – Informative
Graphics Corporation (IGC),
a leader in viewing,
collaboration and redaction technology, has been
named to EContent magazine’s EC100, an annual list of
100 companies and technologies that matter most in the digital
content industry. IGC was specifically recognized in the Content
Security category, due to its superior product lines including
Brava!®, Redact-It®, and Net-It®. The complete EC100 list appears
in the December 2009 issue of the publication: http://tinyurl.com/ydm5379.
“Data breaches, intentional or accidental, are commonplace in
today’s digitized world,” says Michelle Manafy, Editor-in-Chief
of EContent magazine. “Informative Graphics Corporation
has been named to this year’s EC100 content security list because
the company has demonstrated leadership in producing innovative
technology to make content security simple and achievable. We are
pleased to acknowledge their achievements by awarding them a place
on this year’s EC100 list.”
For 20 years IGC has dedicated itself to producing quality viewing
and annotation software to help corporations, government entities,
and law firms to access, share and collaborate on content securely
while protecting the integrity of the original document. Here are
a few of the features that helped IGC earn this award:
- IGC products never alter the source file.
- Users can add onscreen and print watermarks and banners with
legal, copyright, and other information to documents.
- Server viewing products only transmit a proprietary, display
version of requested document pages to user’s machine.
- Publishing files to secure Content Sealed Format (CSF) with
Visual Rights® offers the ability to control user rights such as
printing and copying, and to expire the use of the file past a
specified date. CSF files are an accurate, secure, 256-bit encrypted
rendition of the source file that can not be edited and are only
viewable via IGC products. A free reader is available for convenient
distribution.
- Brava and Redact-It products offer redaction to remove sensitive
information from documents. In fact, Brava was the first multi-format
viewer to include redaction capabilities. Redact-It is designed
to redact massive amounts of information with great ease.
“We are honored to be featured on this year’s EC100 list,” remarked
Gary Heath, CEO of Informative Graphics Corporation. “A company’s
data is critical to its success and IGC is committed to providing
superior viewing and collaboration for data that can be shared,
and reliable content protection when it can’t. Our annotation,
viewing, and redaction solutions have dramatically improved content
security for our clients and we will continue to develop useful
technology to further safeguard information and streamline workflows.”
IGC’s product offerings range from free viewers and desktop applications
to IT enterprise-class server products that are integrated into
leading content and eDiscovery systems like Microsoft SharePoint,
IBM FileNet P8, EMC Documentum, OpenText Content Server and Clearwell
Systems.
