Informative Graphics Releases Brava! Enterprise (v5.3) Viewer
Adding Annotation, Redaction To Enterprise Content Management &
Project Collaboration
SCOTTSDALE, Arizona — March 15, 2006 Informative
Graphics Corporation (IGC), a leader in Web-document and
collaboration technology, today released its latest version of
Brava!® Enterprise content visualization server. The new version
5.3 offers a number of enhancements designed to increase Brava’s
flexibility and efficiency.
Brava! Enterprise content visualization server provides
unified—and universal—viewing, annotation and secure publishing
for the enterprise. Brava centralizes content viewing for
hundreds of office and engineering formats, including TIFF and
PDF, and is offered fully-integrated to enterprise content
management solutions such as EMC Documentum®, Open Text Livelink®
and Microsoft SharePoint®. Brava features Save to PDF, content
redaction and can publish content sealed format (CSF) files
using Visual Rights® document-level persistent controls,
extending system document security beyond the firewall.
New features for version 5.3 include:
• Performance optimization for PDF/TIFF– especially tuned for
secure financial imaging workflows.
• Scrollable thumbnail panel – Allows users to preview any
page in the document as a thumbnail
• Redaction tool enhancements – Find/Redact and Redact List
features help users automate redaction on keywords throughout
entire documents, redactions convey when saved to PDF and CSF
file formats
• Compare tools – align and compare two images with
highlighted differences, or flip between each dynamically using
a slider to animate differences.
• Term-Hit Highlighting –documents returned from a search
query and then viewed in Brava will display search terms as
highlighted
• Annotation consolidation – select annotation/markups from
multiple reviewers and combine into a single file
