Tightly integrated with IBM eDiscovery Manager, Redact-It works with original documents in virtually any format and automatically creates TIFF or PDF renditions. The automated redaction process leaves the original file completely unaltered in its original location. The redacted rendition contains no hidden text or metadata; the content is completely removed, so there is no risk of inadvertent disclosure through improper redaction.
The Redact-It log file contains the search criteria used, redaction reasons, user information, the location of redactions and more.
