Information Rights Management (IRM)
Informative Graphics' Visual Rights® technology adds another layer to
any content security strategy. We render document, image and
CAD files into our accurate, encrypted, Content Sealed Format (CSF) with embedded usage
controls.
CSF is not an open format like PDF, and when it comes to security, that is a good thing. CSF was
specifically designed for use when content security is required. Like PDF, CSF
is an accurate, text-searchable rendition of the original file and is viewable with a free viewer.
Unlike PDF, a CSF file cannot be edited or converted once published. In fact, no
metadata is transfered to a CSF file, so there is no hidden text to worry about either.
Secure distribution of documents with CSF offers:
- Non-editable viewing of documents without requiring the authoring application
(e.g., Word or AutoCAD)
- Encrypted rendition for efficient file transfer
- Visual Rights persistent security, including file expiration and usage restrictions
- Watermarks and banners
- Redaction (remove privacy information or sensitive content)
- Ability to integrate to E-DRM and ECM systems
