Net-It® Technical Specifications

Net-It Enterprise consists of two major components:  the Queue Server and the Job Processor.  The Queue Server is used to hold jobs for publishing and to serve those jobs to awaiting Job Processors.  The Job Processor does the actual work of publication and is responsible for calling a notification URL upon job completion.

Queue Server
The Queue Server requires IIS 6.0 running on Windows Server 2003. The .NET 2.0 Framework will be installed if needed, and IIS will be configured to run ASP.NET 2.0 applications.

Job Processor
The Job Processor requires Windows XP or Windows 2003.
