Secure and Scalable Brava!® Viewing Solution

Brava makes sharing content safe and convenient.

Brava enables viewing and collaborative annotation of virtually any document directly from Livelink, but can also restrict unauthorized users from downloading, copying, printing or saving the document locally. You can also use Brava to share files with users outside of OpenText Content Server; files can be distributed as a convenient neutral format―PDF, TIFF or Secure CSF―that is viewable by the free Brava Reader. CSF offers the added benefit of Visual Rights® document security controls which include:

• Password protection
• Restricting print, copy, layer views and more
• Adding a watermark and banners
• Time-expiring the file

Brava is scalable and fast.

Brava’s server architecture and display capabilities are optimized to deliver fast and accurate viewing, exceptional performance over remote access networks. The small client does not need to request every image change from the server, so the server can fill more new file requests. Files can be cached or pre-published, to speed load times. The client also does not load the entire multipage file, so documents load faster. Brava only loads pages as they are requested, so by using the thumbnail views, users can quickly jump right to the page they need.
